Reading (35 minutes)

Two reading passages with tasks

Listening (36 minutes)

Five recordings with questions

  • 2 campus conversations

  • Lectures may include student-professor interactions

Speaking (16 minutes)

Four tasks

  • 1 Independent Task: express an opinion on a familiar topic
  • 3 Integrated Tasks:

Writing (29 minutes)

Two tasks

  • Integrated Writing (20 min):
    • Read a passage

    • Participate in a simulated online class discussion by responding to a professor’s question and classmates’ opinions

How Much Does TOEFL ibt Exam Cost?

The TOEFL iBT exam in Malaysia typically costs around RM 850 (USD 199), and this fee includes sending your scores to up to four institutions. Other optional charges may apply, such as express score delivery for about RM 585 (USD 129), a late registration fee of roughly RM 205 (USD 49), rescheduling costs of about RM 273 (USD 60), and additional score reports at around RM 114 (USD 25) each.
